The Zellige Fence Topper is a 3 mm mild steel fence panel plasma-cut with a star-and-rosette lattice inspired by Moorish tilework. It fixes along the top of an existing fence and comes in 1830 × 450 mm for a 6 ft panel or 915 × 450 mm for a 3 ft section.
This is a pattern that loves sunshine. On a bright afternoon the interlocking stars throw a lacy shadow across a patio, making it a natural fit for a Mediterranean-style courtyard with terracotta pots, a sheltered seating area, or a south-facing fence behind a dining table. The lattice is dense enough to add a sense of enclosure while still letting light and air through.
Choose satin black or anthracite grey for a powder-coated, durable coloured finish; black is especially good at showing off the geometry. Raw steel is also available and will rust outdoors to an orange-brown patina that suits terracotta and warm stone, but keep in mind that rust run-off can stain pale tiles or render directly below.
Fitting is done through the 40 mm solid rail along the bottom edge. It carries pre-cut Ø8 mm holes, five on the 1830 mm panel and four on the 915 mm, so you can screw it to your fence top rail or posts with exterior screws.
Brush leaves out of the lattice from time to time and wipe coated panels with soapy water. Raw steel can be left to weather as it pleases. Zellige is made to order in our Knowsley workshop, and we'll confirm your dispatch date by email.

Yes. In direct sun the star-and-rosette lattice throws a detailed shadow across paving and planting.
