• Mild steel: general fabrication. Paint or coat it for outdoor use.
• 304 stainless: the everyday grade for indoor and sheltered outdoor use.
• 316 stainless: best near the coast, pools, salt or chemicals.

3. We plasma cut, deburr and pack it.
4. Delivery is added at checkout.

• £25 UK mainland box delivery for squares up to 700 mm, orders up to 30 kg.
• Bigger or heavier orders go on a pallet, priced by postcode.

Can I order a size between the options?
Yes. Choose the next size up and type your exact side length. We cut to your figure.

How much does 3 mm steel plate weigh?
About 23.6 kg per m² in mild steel, so a 500 × 500 mm plate is about 5.9 kg.

Can you cut holes in the plate?
Plates here are plain. For holes or slots, send a drawing.

Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, £70 per piece ordered online. For several small pieces, send us the sizes and we will price them as a batch.

Can I return cut-to-size metal?
Pieces cut to your size cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty or incorrect items are covered. See Returns.
