The Tidewater Privacy Screen Panel is an 1800 mm tall mild steel screen, plasma-cut with bold rolling waves, curling crests and flying spray. Made from 3 mm steel, it comes in 900 mm or 1200 mm widths and screws onto timber posts or battens.
Set upright, the waves stack one above another like a rising tide, giving a garden screen far more energy than trellis. It suits a coastal garden, a roof terrace or balcony where you want to break the wind and the view from next door, or a spot beside an outdoor shower or hot tub. Two or three panels side by side make a striking run along a boundary.
You have three finishes to choose from. Satin black and anthracite grey are powder coated to give a durable coloured finish, which is the sensible option near salt air or above pale decking. Raw steel is supplied bare and will rust outdoors to an orange-brown patina; it has a weathered, harbour-wall character, but rust run-off can stain slabs, render or decking below.
Fitting is through six Ø8 mm fixing holes in the 30 mm side frame. Screw the panel between a pair of posts, or onto horizontal battens fixed to an existing fence, using exterior screws suited to the timber.
Rinse coated screens occasionally to clear salt or dust. Every Tidewater screen is made to order in our Knowsley workshop, and we'll confirm your dispatch date by email.
Is it suitable for a windy or coastal spot?
The panel is 3 mm steel, fixed through six Ø8 mm holes to posts or battens, so the strength of your posts matters most. Powder-coated finishes are the better choice near salt air.

Yes, raw mild steel rusts outdoors to an orange-brown patina, and run-off can stain pale surfaces beneath it.
Can I fix it to an existing fence?
Yes. Fix horizontal timber battens to the fence and screw the panel's 30 mm side frame to them.
