Saltmarsh Plasma-Cut Bin Store & Oil Tank Screen – Mild Steel

from £309.99

The Saltmarsh Bin Store & Oil Tank Screen is a 1200 × 1200 mm plasma-cut mild steel panel patterned with swaying reeds, bulrushes and seed-headed grasses, made to hide wheelie bins, oil tanks and other practical clutter. It is cut from 3 mm steel and sold as a single panel, a set of 2 or a set of 3.

Most front gardens and side returns have something nobody wants to look at. A single panel set in front of a row of bins screens them from the street; a set of 2 turns a corner around a recycling area; a set of 3 wraps the front and both sides of an oil tank, a heat pump enclosure or a log pile. At 1200 mm tall, the panels hide a standard wheelie bin while leaving the lids easy to reach.

The reed pattern keeps things light and natural rather than industrial. In raw steel it will rust outdoors to an orange-brown patina that disappears into planting, though rust run-off can stain pale paving or a concrete base. Satin black and anthracite grey are powder coated for a durable coloured finish.

Each panel has six Ø8 mm fixing holes for screwing to posts. Set timber posts at the corners and fix two or three panels between them to form a three-sided enclosure, leaving the fourth side open for access.

Hose down coated panels when they get grubby; raw steel needs no care. Your screens are made to order in our Knowsley workshop, and we'll confirm your dispatch date by email.
