The Personalised Gate Name Plate is a 450 × 120 mm mild steel plate with your house or gate name plasma-cut clean through it in a bold stencil letterform. It is 3 mm thick and has two Ø6 mm fixing holes for mounting on a gate, post, wall or fence.
Because the letters are cut right through, the name shows clearly against whatever is behind it: the gap of a gate, a painted wall, or a hedge. It suits a farm gate, a cottage gatepost, a driveway pillar or the front of a garden workshop, and it makes a thoughtful housewarming or new-home gift.
You can enter a name of up to 16 characters, including spaces. Names like ASH COTTAGE, THE OLD FORGE or WILLOW END fit comfortably. Choose from two fonts: Stencil Sans, which is clean and modern, or Stencil Serif, which has a more traditional feel. Finishes are satin black and anthracite grey, both powder coated for a durable coloured finish, or raw steel. Raw steel will rust outdoors to an orange-brown patina, which suits an old barn or stone wall, but rust run-off can mark pale render or paintwork below the plate.
Fix it through the two Ø6 mm holes with screws suited to your surface. An occasional wipe keeps coated plates looking sharp.
