The stake is plasma-cut in one piece from 3 mm mild steel and measures 320 mm wide × 630 mm high, including the integral ground spike. It comes as a single stake or as a pair (save on two), handy for flanking a path or a gate. Push the spike 250–300 mm into firm soil; nothing else is needed.
Choose raw steel, rust patina or satin black. Raw steel will rust to an orange-brown patina outdoors, which looks right among leaf litter and bark; rust patina gives you that weathered look from day one and keeps developing. Satin black is a durable coloured finish if you want a cleaner outline. Rusting finishes can mark adjacent paving, so plant it in soil.

How do I put it in the ground?
Push the integral spike 250–300 mm into firm soil. In loose or sandy soil, firm the earth around it after inserting.
