Hawthorn Plasma-Cut Slot-Together Fire Pit – Mild Steel

from £199.99

The Hawthorn Slot-Together Fire Pit is a tool-free, flat-pack fire pit made from 4 mm mild steel, with winding hawthorn branches, lobed leaves and clusters of haws plasma-cut into each of its four sides. The standard version is 500 mm wide and 420 mm high, and a Large 650 mm size is available too.

Firelight flickering through a hedgerow of leaves and berries has a cosy, autumnal feel, perfect for bonfire-season evenings in the garden. It sits happily in a gravel clearing among cottage planting, on a patio beside a pair of wooden chairs, or at a family gathering where you want a warm focal point. With the optional grill grate added, it doubles as a simple barbecue.

Putting it together takes a minute and needs no tools or welding. The four identical panels interlock at the corners, and the base plate tabs lock through the side slots so the whole thing stays rigid. Slide it apart again to store flat.

You can choose raw steel or high-heat black. Raw steel will rust outdoors to an orange-brown patina, and the fire's heat will darken and discolour the metal as it is used; expect rust to mark pale paving over time, so stand it on gravel or darker slabs if you prefer.

For safe use, keep it on a non-flammable surface such as paving or gravel, not on decking or grass. Never leave a fire unattended, and let it cool fully before you move it or clear the ash.

Made to order in our Knowsley workshop. We'll confirm your dispatch date by email.
