Fellside Plasma-Cut Fence Topper – Mild Steel

from £70.99

The Fellside Fence Topper is a 3 mm mild steel panel, plasma-cut with layered fell ridges, a low sun and a pine forest, that fixes along the top of your fence. It is made at 1830 × 450 mm for a 6 ft fence panel or 915 × 450 mm for a 3 ft stretch.

For anyone who spends weekends on the hills, this brings the skyline home. The overlapping ridges give real depth, and the pines along the lower edge anchor the scene, so it looks just as good above a stone-edged rockery as it does on a rural boundary or at the back of a garden that looks out towards open country. On a long fence, several panels create an unbroken range of peaks.

Finish options are raw steel, satin black and anthracite grey. Raw steel is left bare and rusts outdoors to an orange-brown patina, not unlike bracken on a hillside in autumn; rust run-off can stain paving, walls or render immediately below, so consider what sits underneath. Satin black and anthracite grey are powder coated for a durable coloured finish, and grey in particular has a slate-like calm.

The panel is fixed through pre-cut Ø8 mm holes in its 40 mm bottom rail, five on the 1830 mm length and four on the 915 mm, screwed into the top rail of a timber fence or into posts.

A wash now and again is all coated panels ask for, and raw steel can be left alone. Fellside is made to order in our Knowsley workshop, and we'll confirm your dispatch date by email.
