Ember Plasma-Cut Flat-Pack BBQ & Fire Basket Stand – Mild Steel

from £169.99

The Ember Flat-Pack BBQ & Fire Basket Stand is a slot-together mild steel stand with a round grate on top, designed to hold a fire basket or cook over a small fire.

Its two legs carry an Art Deco pattern of sunburst fans rising between slim posts, a nod to the geometric styling of the 1920s and 30s. With the fire lit, the fans throw long, angular shadows across the ground, which makes it feel like a piece of garden furniture rather than a camping accessory.

Cut from 4 mm mild steel, the stand measures 480 mm wide by 620 mm high, a comfortable height for turning sausages or warming hands without stooping.

There are no tools or welding involved. The two legs cross-slot into an X and the round grate sits on the four top tabs. Lift the grate off, slide the legs apart and it all stores flat against a shed wall over winter.

Choose raw steel or high-heat black. Raw steel will rust to an orange-brown patina outdoors, faster where it meets heat, and it can leave marks on light paving. The high-heat black finish gives a darker, more uniform look to begin with.

Keep the stand on a firm, non-flammable surface such as paving or gravel, not on decking or grass. Never leave a fire unattended and let everything cool fully before moving it. A wire brush after use keeps the grate clean.

Questions

How does it go together?
The two legs cross-slot into an X and the round grate sits on the four top tabs. No tools or welding are needed.

Can I stand it on my decking or lawn?
No. Use it on paving or gravel, never on decking or grass. Never leave a fire unattended and let it cool fully before moving.

Will it mark my patio?
Raw steel will rust to an orange-brown patina outdoors and runoff can stain pale paving. Standing it on gravel or a spare slab avoids this.

Can you make a taller or wider version?
Yes. Use our Custom Plasma Cutting quote form with the size you need and we will come back to you with a price.
