Ember Plasma-Cut Fence Topper – Mild Steel
The Ember Fence Topper is a plasma-cut mild steel panel with an Art Deco pattern of sunburst fans set between slim posts, designed to fix along the top of a fence. It is 3 mm thick and made in two sizes: 1830 × 450 mm for a 6 ft fence panel and 915 × 450 mm for a 3 ft run.
Deco geometry has a crispness that suits a 1930s semi, a town-house courtyard, or a contemporary garden with clean lines and rendered walls. The fans and posts repeat along the length, so a run of several panels reads as one continuous frieze, a bit like the ironwork on a period cinema front or a seaside lido.
Three finishes are offered. Satin black is the classic Deco choice and is powder coated for a durable finish, as is anthracite grey, which pairs well with grey composite fencing and modern porcelain paving. Raw steel is supplied bare and will rust outdoors to an orange-brown patina; that warmth can look striking against black timber, but rust run-off can stain light slabs or render underneath, so plan where it sits.
Every panel has a 40 mm bottom rail with pre-cut Ø8 mm holes, five on the 1830 mm size and four on the 915 mm, ready to screw onto a fence top rail or directly to posts.
Maintenance is easy: wash coated panels with mild soapy water when they need it, and leave raw steel to weather naturally. Ember is made to order in our Knowsley workshop, and we'll confirm your dispatch date by email.

Questions
Can I run several panels in a row?
Yes. The pattern repeats along the length, so panels placed end to end read as a continuous frieze.
Will the raw steel one rust?
Yes. Raw mild steel rusts to an orange-brown patina outdoors, and run-off can stain pale paving or render beneath it.
How do I attach it?
Screw through the pre-cut Ø8 mm holes in the 40 mm bottom rail into the top rail of your fence or into the posts. Fixings are not included.
Do you make other sizes?
Yes. If you need a different width, height or layout, send us the details through our Custom Plasma Cutting quote form and we'll come back to you with a price.
